I have so much crap.
but really I don’t.
but really…I do.
ugh. I hate moving. Sweaty sweaty, and anyone who is helping me probably just thinks I have so much crap too. sorrrrryyyyyy guys!
So much for spending my last night
in my apartment, actually in my apartment…oops.
Sleepovers are much better anyway. Besides that bike ride kicked my ass I almost fell asleep on the spot. And really, it’s nice to just sleep next to someone. And a kiss to send you off in the morning, well that’s nice too. A boy who bikes you home, doesn’t let you ride by yourself, even though it’s only a block...
Your hands are made for holdin mine
all the time.
cool.
homeless tomorrow night…
I have to pack....
my entire room/whatever is mine in the house. I should’ve started by now.

When I said we made out like teenagers,
I meant, I have a fat lip we made out so much.
Work should be interesting. I “got hit by a soccer ball” or something to that effect. I could just say I got hit by a polo ball, which I did, in the chest, but if I got hit in the face with a polo ball well I probably wouldn’t have teeth…so yeah…a soccer ball.
It's almost 6am,
I just got home from my date. Don’t tell my mother.
He held my hand first and then kissed me during the closing credits. What a babe. My oh my. We made out like teenagers, it was wonderful wonderful.
Highlights: he stopped kissing me to tell me he was glad he met me, and then again to tell me I have a beautiful smile. swooooooon.
I am going to be so tired today, but it was totally...

I wish I wasn't so phone shy
with new people.
I am so fucking beat.
what a weekend.
Took a polo ball to the chest
to which some kid yelled “right in the tit! best shot of the day”
the one second, I wasn’t actually paying attention.
icing my knee with a frozen bag of broccoli and taking a nap.
Alley Cat Race later, should be running a checkpoint, come find me.
Sometimes I just think my heart will explode
from too much or not enough
Annoyed.
time to shave my head. (not all of it, just trim my hawk)
It’s better than yelling, or saying mean things to be later regretted. I’m not mean.

I think I should actually start
a Magic Circle Symphony.
For a while now I’ve been trying to start a band, or at least find people who want to start backing me up. But honestly I’d rather just write a whole bunch of new songs with a band rather than having them learn my songs. Although people would be able offer their own creative input the music is already written, and I’d much rather write all new stuff.

I love that I call my mom at work
to update her on the apartment, and tell her how awesome of a night I had, and I hear a little kid in the background “can I have some stickers please”
totally cute. (my mom works at a doctor’s office. she was a nurse for a while and now she’s the boss lady.)

AUGUST 24 – THE BUG JAR, ROCHESTER, NY [SHOW #66]
Day 76. 18,340 miles. “I don’t really know band protocol” Kira told Devin over the phone. We were driving around Rochester, NY in search of a burrito while Devin was on the phone reconnecting with an old friend from his middle school days in Austria who now lives in Rochester. She has been anticipating our arrival and...
I slept in
but I kind of feel like I got hit by a train. I’m not used to that much unnecessary sleep.
I’m still feeling really good after last night, put me in a real positive mood. I hope the next month and a half zooms by, I can’t wait to see those boys again!

The Poison Control Center
I’ve been a serious music fan and attending shows since I was 13. Ten years later I am still doing it. It’s a hunger that needs to be filled by crowds and ringing ears. A hunger only filled by song.
I’ve been to hundreds of shows in different cities, at different bars, with different friends, different bands. Most blur together, I am pretty good with detail but the shows...
